Open houses!  This week, my team and I sat at two center hall colonials in Basking Ridge: 62 Tuxford Terrace and 49 Kinnan Way.  There were LOTS of people who walked through both homes.  This is a great sign – there are buyers looking for homes in our town.

Improvements in the Market – Possible rising values.  Over the last few weeks, I attended two market seminars.  Both respected presenters (Jim Weichert and Jeffrey Otteau) predict that Spring, 2015 will be a terrific season for real estate.   Inventory is low, which means seller’s can push the envelope on pricing.  In my very recent experience, however, I think you have to be a little careful on just how much you push it.  The buyers haven’t quite gotten that message yet and a listing must show VALUE for them to jump on it.
