A trademark of the holiday season at Weichert is the company’s annual toy drive, which has helped provide hundreds of thousands of items for underprivileged children in the communities Weichert serves.
The 38th Annual Weichert Toy Drive is now underway, and members of the community are invited to drop off new, unwrapped toys at any Weichert sales office through December 9. The toys that are collected will be delivered throughout the holidays in conjunction with local charities that assist financially and physically disadvantaged children.
“As we prepare for the holiday season, it is our goal as a company to remember those families and children who are less fortunate, and to do our part to help bring the holiday spirit to them,” said Jim Weichert, president, chairman and CEO of Weichert, Realtors. “We invite you to join Weichert’s efforts as we help serve the communities where we do business by bringing holiday cheer to families who need it most.”
Weichert employees at the company’s corporate headquarters, as well as in other company locations throughout the United States, will also participate in the yearly community service event. Last year, more than 16,500 toys were distributed to charitable and service organizations.
