This event is near and dear to my heart. And though I don’t know Danielle Ricci, I was in her shoes two years ago when Jace asked me to tell MY story in front of all of those people! Way to go, Danielle! I’m proud of my company for supporting this cause.
Weichert, Realtors successfully raised $170,000 in donations for the American Cancer Society to fund breast cancer research during its 16th Annual Charity Golf Outing. Proceeds from the event bring the grand total that Weichert has raised for the American Cancer Society to more than $1 million since the annual fundraiser began in 2001.
The event was held at Fiddler’s Elbow Country Club in Bedminster, N.J., and included a buffet luncheon, 18-hole golf tournament and a post-tournament awards banquet. The more than 240 participants were inspired by breast cancer survivor Danielle Ricci, who shared her story of survival and encouraged attendees to make generous contributions toward the cause so that others like her may successfully finish their fight with cancer.
TV and radio personality Bill Spadea was the emcee for the evening event, which also included a silent auction.
