Help Spread the Holiday Spirit! Weichert, Realtors Hosts 37th Annual Toy Drive
In its ongoing tradition of brightening the holiday season for children in need, Weichert has kicked off its 37th Annual Holiday Toy Drive.
From now through Dec. 11, each of the company’s sales offices will be accepting new, unwrapped toys for distribution to financially and/or physically disadvantaged children within their local communities. Weichert employees throughout the United States will also participate in the yearly community service event.
At the conclusion of the toy drive, local charities that aid needy or underprivileged children will deliver the toys during the holidays. To date, the annual toy drive has yielded hundreds of thousands of items for underprivileged children in the communities Weichert serves. Last year, more than 13,000 toys were distributed to charitable and service organizations.
“As we get into the holiday spirit, it’s important to remember those children who are less fortunate, and to do our part to help brighten their holiday season,” said Jim Weichert, president and founder of Weichert, Realtors. “As a company, Weichert makes it a priority to assist in all of the communities where we do business, and our annual toy drive allows us to extend our efforts even further.”
