Bernards Township’s second annual Field of Honor

The Beautification Task Force of Bernards Township

and Community Hope offer the Second Annual

“FIELD OF HONOR”

In honor of Veteran’s Day, the Beautification Task Force of Bernards Township will sponsor a “Field of Honor”. The field of American Flags will recognize and show honor to the Veterans who have dedicated themselves to the protection of our freedom. The “Field of Honor” flag will consist of a 3 x 5 foot flag, mounted on a 6 foot pole and placed in precision rows on the lawn of the Bernards Township Municipal Building, located 1 Collyer Lane. Your flag will have a yellow ribbon hand printed with your honoree’s name. Cost per flag is $30 and there is a limit of 200 available flags. Flags are sold up until September 30th or until sold out, whichever is first. Set up of flags will take place on Saturday, November 30th at 10:00am, and removal will be Saturday, November 17th at 10:00 am, at which time you may pick up your flag, or choose to donate it back to the program. Flags will not be available for pick up after this date. For volunteer opportunities, please email beautification@bernards.org. All honorees, families and residents of Bernards and surrounding areas are welcome to attend a ceremony to dedicate the flags. This wonderful Township event is rain or shine.

Dedication Ceremony: Sunday, November 4 at 1:00
