NJ is beautiful! Horse Farms and History

I grew up in Union County.  For two summers I went to a day camp for which I got on a bus and drove to the “country”.  It wasn’t until I was living in Basking Ridge and reading the Bernardsville News that I realized that the site of that day camp is now pretty much my back yard!    Bordering Morris and Hunterdon Counties, Somerset County is a beautiful place.  A friend posted this article to Facebook this morning and I had to share it here.  If you are considering a move to our area and want a really good way to check it out, take this drive!  Fall in love with our space, then look for a house!

First paragraph copied from the NJ Monthly article, click the link for the original article, “Drive these rolling hills, and you’ll find it hard to believe that New Jersey is the most densely populated state in the nation. While it’s true that more than 800,000 people live in Somerset and Morris counties—located smack in the center of populous North Jersey—to cruise their bucolic byways in the fall is to luxuriate in plowed fields, horse farms, historic towns and an unparalleled display of blazing foliage.”   Read more about Horse Farms and History.

Have a great weekend!
